"It all starts with a little flicker of passion & hope - facilitate that flicker until it becomes an unstoppable flame- only then, can we start cooking"
A glimpse into our food chain...
The Holobiome
The life beyond what we can see in the soil, water and air that makes it all possible. Nature’s self healing system. Industrialization destroys this holobiome that cycles nutrients, cleans water, protects against disease, sequesters carbon and feeds everything else. If we don’t support our holobiome and the life within it- the rest of the chain fails
Farmers + Foragers
The start of the visible chain. The ones who facilitate our soils and venture into nature to bring edible life from them. Farmers do more than grow the produce and raise the animals that feed us. They are problem solvers, resiliant doers, and prideful facilitators to mother nature. If we don’t support our farmers and foragers- the rest of the chain fails
Artisans
A lost art- transforming nature’s gifts into nutrient dense and delicious products. Bakers, butchers, charcutiers, cheesemakers, vintners and what we like to call ‘ferment facilitators’- to name a few. They give us nutrient density and preservation of products otherwise lost to time. If we don’t support our artisans and fermentation experts- the rest of the chain fails
Chefs
Taking those raw ingredients and artisanal products- working with the elements to create something different than what it started as. Modern day alchemists. Expressing culture, geography and passion onto a plate. If we don’t support our chefs- the rest of the chain fails
Supply Chain
The art and science of sharing our gifts from one community to another. From grocers to restaurants, schools and beyond. These innovative people and systems are what allows us to always be in abundance and experience variety from around the world. When we don’t support our own regional supply chains and people over profit- the rest of the chain fails
Closing The Loop
When we do not replace what was taken- the rest of the chain fails. When we put toxic material into the system- it gives it back, and we are the ones who face those devastating effects as well. We must give back the life to the soil, facilitate the systems that clean our water and purify our air… If we cannot do this- we failĀ
Our Roots
Culinatural started as a private dining experience service by Chef Luke Johnson in 2024. Since then, it has become the culmination of collaborative ideas in pursuit of one mission- Heal America's Diet & Food Supply.
We are working to support every branch of our food chain, from the soil to the farmers, chefs and artisans, supply chain logistics and management, navigating our way step by step with the promise to never back down until that mission is complete.
"The fundamental principle of true healing consists of a return to natural habits of living"
Our Revival
We are no more than a group of people who are trying to be the change we want to see in our communities. For us, food is our life- our livelyhood and purpose. It is what facilitates the bond in our families. It is the art we get to express our deepest soulful being with. We don't want to lose it. We want to build the systems that continue to pass down this ancient knowledge based around our food, while also innovating new ways to share our art with the masses.
